London, November 17 (ANI): Bruce Springsteen turned red with embarrassment after accidentally greeting fans in Detroit, Michigan with a shout out to the state of Ohio.
The rocker began the show by shouting out "Hello, Ohio!" and went on to make the reference two more times.
It was only when guitarist Steve Van Zandt pointed out his mistake that the singer apologised to the crowd, confessing it was "every frontman's nightmare".

"I just grabbed him and said, 'You don't realise it, but you're saying Ohio and we're in Michigan.' He said 'What?!?'," the Daily Express quoted Van Zandt as telling RollingStone.com.
"In his mind he knew he was in Detroit, but somehow Detroit wound up in Ohio for a minute," he added. (ANI)
