Ellen DeGeneres gushes about Portia de Rossi

Washington, November 10 (ANI): Ellen DeGeneres has opened up about her relationship with partner Portia de Rossi in the December issue of O: The Oprah Magazine.he comedian and talk show host believes that her woman lover will stay with her till the day she dies.

"She is so beautiful and so smart and so funny. I have that sense of 'I'm done now.' I'm settled," Us magazine quoted her as telling the magazine.

"I know that part of my life is taken care of. I've got love. I've got someone who will be with me till the day I die," she added.

Ellen and Portia married on Aug. 16, 2008 in a small ceremony in their home before the November 2008 passage of Proposition 8 (banning gay marriage in California).

Meanwhile, Ellen is set to appear in 'American Idol' as a judge this season.

Referring to the producers of the show, she said: "They came to me, and it was a total surprise.

"I like to try new things because I get bored so easily. And I like the show, so I thought it was a great idea." (ANI)
