New Delhi, Nov 8(ANI): Vikas Sinha, an associate of former Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda, was on Sunday brought to the national capital by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials for further interrogation over his alleged role in the hawala transactions and the illegal investments.

Sinha has been brought to the national capital after a Ranchi court sent him to 10 days into ED's custody on Saturday.

Vikas Sinha, the brother of another associate Binod Sinha, Vikash, has been charged under sections 409 (criminal breach of trust), 420 (cheating), 465 (forgery), 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and other provisions of Prevention of Corruption Act by the ED.

Earlier in the day, Madhu Koda was discharged from Apollo Hospital in Ranchi. The Income Tax (IT) Department will question him at his Ranchi residence from Tuesday.

The department has also asked its officers in Ranchi to bring a list of the seizures and records of statements of his associates, which will be put across to Koda during the questioning. (ANI)
