The rally was to send an awareness message to motorists of the city, who hardly follow the traffic rules and regulations.
"We are trying to inculcate safe driving culture through these kinds of educational events. We are trying to organize these fun rallies with the theme of traffic education," said Sovik Ghosh, the convenor of the rally.
Ghosh added that the event was envisaged to bring back the joy of driving.
Kunal Kundu, a participant, said that the initiative was to help people to know the methods of safe driving.
"It is not basically a fast paced rally, it is more about knowing your city better. It is a rally where you actually give more importance to three points, which are safe driving, fuel consumption and traffic regulation. These three points are very important for a careful and serious driver in a traffic," Kundu said.
Although, traffic safety was the crux of the rally, the fun part was in a puzzle format in which the teams traced their way solving ten puzzles to reach ten destinations, covering a distance of 50 kilometres. (ANI)
