Earlier, political uncertainty shrouded the BJP government in Karnataka, showing no signs of a resolution, notwithstanding the claims of Yeddyurappa that the crisis triggered by the Reddy brothers has been "resolved".
Yeddyruppa had another round of late evening consultations with senior party leaders on Saturday as the dissidents continued to rejected talks of a compromise and stuck to their demand for a change of leadership.
Senior BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu said there would be no change of leadership and there would be a happy "conclusion".
"There is no question of working under pressure. But if colleagues have raised questions, they cannot be brushed aside," Naidu said apparently referring to the demands of the Reddy brothers and their grievances against the Chief Minister.
He declined to go into details of the compromise formula. The Chief Minister also did not say anything.
Yeddyruppa is said to be resisting the demand of the dissidents for the removal of Home Minister V S Acharya and four others.
He is believed to have promised a restructuring of the Cabinet and to take along all sides in matters of governance. (ANI)
