Musharraf's 'evil-spirit' behind Punjab law minister's efforts to legalise dances: JI
Lahore, Nov.5 (ANI): Criticising Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah for tabling a legislation in the State Assembly, which legalises dances, the Jamaat-e-Islami deputy Secretary General Dr Farid Ahmed Piracha has said that it seems that former President Pervez Musharraf's 'evil spirit' has influenced Sanaullah to initiate such an anti-Islamic step.

"The evil spirit of Pervez Musharraf seemed to be hovering around over the country as yet and sometimes it also crept into those who claimed to be the protectors of the Pakistan ideology," Piracha said in a statement.
He said despite being the Law Minister, it seems, Sanaullah has never gone through the country's Constitution, which clearly mentions that 'it is mandatory for the government to create an atmosphere conducive with the Islamic society.'
"Law for banning dances already existed at the federal and the provincial level and it was the responsibility of the law minister himself to implement them," The Nation quoted Piracha, as saying. (ANI)
