Tue, 01 Jan 2008 ANI

Islamabad, Aug 23 (ANI): At least 20 people were killed and several others injured when a suicide bomber rammed his explosive-laden vehicle into a police station in Pakistan's restive northwestern Swat valley this morning.

The attacker drove the vehicle into the police station at Charbagh, located about 10 km from Mingora, the main town of Swat district.

The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has claimed the responsibility for the attack.

On Thursday, at least sixty people were killed and over 80 others were injured in two suicide bomb blasts outside Pakistan's main military arms factory in Wah Cantonment.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the attackers blew themselves up almost simultaneously outside two gates of the sprawling factory complex in Wah Cantonment, said to be one of Pakistan's most sensitive installations. (ANI)
