London, October 28 (ANI): Michael Jackson, Mary J. Blige and Naomi Campbell have been feted by a leading African-American college for their achievements in the world of fashion and entertainment.
The late King of Pop was accorded the Avant-Garde Award, accepted on his behalf by his brother Marlon Jackson, at the annual Thurgood Marshall College Fund gala in New York City.

Singer Blige was credited for her music accomplishments and philanthropy with the Breaking Barriers accolade, reports the Daily Express.
Supermodel Campbell was hailed with the Fashion Icon Award for her successful career.
