IIT-Delhi student held for murder of Nagaland girl
New Delhi, Oct 25 (ANI): A 34-year-old PhD student of IIT Delhi has been arrested in connection with the murder of a 19-year-old girl from Nagaland.
According to the police, Pushpak Singh, who was her neighbour in Munirka, South Delhi, was arrested on Sunday after Affy's burnt body was discovered on Saturday.
Sinha, who hails from Patna, has confessed to killing her.
According to the post-mortem report, Singh first killed her and then tried to make it look like an accident by burning her body.
A murder case has been registered in the Vasant Vihar station. Singh will be produced in court today.
The body of the girl has been handed over to the family.
Affy had reportedly come to Delhi two months ago to visit her sister. (ANI)
