US drone strike kills 14 in Pakistan

Damadoola, Oct 24(ANI): At least 14 people were killed, and several others injured in a US drone strike in Damadolla area of Bajaur tribal region on Saturday.

 

The drone was fired near the house of Taliban leader Moulvi Faqeer, who is believed to be hiding in a Pakistani tribal district bordering Afghanistan, The Nation reported.

 

According to initial reports, some foreign nationals were also victims of the attack, while the death toll could increase.

 

More than 35 missile strikes have killed over 350 people since August 2008, fanning hostility against the United States and the government in Pakistan, where more than 1,700 people have died in extremist bombings in two years. (ANI)
