Keira Knightley set to make West End debut
London, Oct 9 (ANI): Hollywood star Keira Knightley is set to make her debut on the West End stage later this year in a modern-day version of Moliere's comedy The Misanthrope.
The 24-year-old will be seen playing an ambitious American film star, the love interest of a British playwright played by Band Of Brothers and Life actor Damian Lewis, who leads the cast, reports The Telegraph.
Lewis, 38, plays the "misanthrope" Alceste, who is disillusioned and angry with hypocrisy and vows to reject society.
But his plans are derailed when he falls madly in love with Jennifer (Knightley), a darling of the social scene.
The play opens at the Comedy Theatre on December 17 and runs until March 13. (ANI)
