London, Oct 1 (ANI): McDonald's is certainly everywhere - the popular fast food chain has reached America's farthest spot between the grasslands of South Dakota.
An online map created by Steven von Worley shows off the ubiquitous presence of McDonald's with more than 13,000 branches in America.
von Worley shows the "McFarthest Spot" in America - or at least the 48 contiguous states - lies in the grasslands of South Dakota, between two tiny hamlets called Meadow and Glad Valley.
It is 107 miles from the nearest McDonald's outlet, reports the Telegraph.
The densely populated eastern seaboard has been shown to have the highest numbers of the fast-food outlets, closely followed by the west coast.
However, it is hard to find the outlet between the Mississippi and the Rocky Mountains.
The South-east Oregon, central Nevada and Idaho are all borderline- what the von Worley calls the "McSparse" area. (ANI)
