Heidi Range plotted Keisha Buchanan's exit from Sugababes?

London, Sept 23 (ANI): Heidi Range was the mastermind behind the events that forced Keisha Buchanan to quit Sugababes, it has emerged.

It is believed that Range plotted with Amelle Berrabah to get the "headstrong" Buchanan out of the band and rope in someone who would help their album sales in the US.

The Sun quoted a source as saying: "Keisha clashed with Amelle since she joined.

"Heidi did not want to be in a position where a big bust-up might arise while they're promoting their material Stateside.

"So she persuaded management a less headstrong character would be better suited to the group."

Although, the Sugababes have recently made a multi-million pound deal with Jay-Z's label Roc Nation, the decision to dump Buchanan may hit the band's finances hard.

The band has had to book extra emergency recording time for their new member Jade Ewen, who is re-recording Buchanan's vocals for their album Sweet 7, which slated for a November 23 release. (ANI)
