London, Aug 18 (ANI): Hugh Jackman has revealed that he was second choice for the role in epic movie 'Australia' - after Russell Crowe turned down the part.

Jackman claims the producers were keen to land Crowe for the part of Nicole Kidman's lover, but the actor snubbed the film over pay.

However, Jackman doesn't mind being second choice.

"I don't mind if I'm off the bench second or third reserve," the Daily Express quoted him, as saying.

" I just didn't want to miss out on being a part of the film, he added. (ANI)
