Tory leader Cameron sees himself as heir to Margaret Thatcher
London, Aug.18 (ANI): Conservative Party leader David Cameron has hailed himself as the heir to former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.According to The Sun, Cameron has vowed to be as tough as the "Iron Lady", as Thatcher was popularly known, should he become Britain's Prime Minister.
He pledged to make the sweeping changes needed to revive our society, just as she did to fix the economy.
Cameron said: "Just as Margaret Thatcher mended the broken economy in the 1980s, so we want to mend Britain's broken society in the early decades of the 21st century.
"I'm going to be as radical a social reformer as Mrs. Thatcher was an economic reformer - and radical social reform is what this country needs right now," he added. (ANI)
