London, August 15 (ANI): Spain's basketball team has raised a new controversy by posing for a photo with "slitty eyes".
All 15 players in the snap can be seen pulling the skin around their eyes into an oriental shape using their fingers.
Chinese spectators are said to be so angry at the picture that they are booing the Spanish team in every match.
The team, however, has denied being racist.
"I'm sorry if anyone took it the wrong way," the Mirror quoted Star Pau Gasol as saying. (ANI)
