Gary Glitter to be arrested for old sex charges on Britain return
London, August 15 (ANI): Jailed paedophile rocker Gary Glitter, 64, may be arrested as soon as he returns to Britain next week, say reports.
A police source has revealed that Glitter, set for release from a Vietnamese jail next Tuesday, will be whisked to a police station to face a series of old sex allegations.

"For every parent worried Glitter will be wandering the streets, let me reassure you - that man's in for a hell of a tough time. He'll wish he'd stayed in jail in Vietnam when we've finished with him," British tabloid The Sun quoted the source as saying.
"If he doesn't agree to an arrest on the plane we'll take him down hard. We'll unleash the hounds, so to speak," the source added.
Glitter was jailed for three years in March 2006 for committing obscene acts with two girls aged ten and 11.
He is to be released early from Thu Duc prison for "good behaviour", and faces deportation under Vietnam's sex crime laws.
His lawyer, Le Thanh Kinh, has revealed: "Police booked his ticket from Ho Chi Minh City to London and I've already paid for it. He'll be unaccompanied on the flight. He's a free man."
Jailed in 1999 in Britain for possessing 4,000 child porn pictures, the glam rocker will seek NHS help for medical problems in Britain, says the paper. (ANI)
