London, Aug 14 (ANI): Chores like cleaning, ironing and cooking would cost 7,864 pounds a year if paid for, a new British poll shows.
The household jobs take up 17 hours a week, the study found.
The costliest weekly tasks are cooking at 20.49 pounds and do-it-yourself (DIY) at 19.09 pounds.
Cooking takes up the most time at 2hrs 22min,reports The Sun.
Women spend longer than men on unpaid chores - 17hrs 39min compared with 15hrs 53min, reports the Yorkshire Building Society, the study found. (ANI)
