Chandigarh, Aug 13(ANI): Cast and crew of Bollywood film 'Yeh Mera India' that highlights various problems of the Indian society, promoted their film in Chandigarh on Wednesday.
Co-Producer and Director of the film N. Chandra said that the movie has projected good values, which are in the veins of Indians but not relied upon by the society.
"This film is about the Indians and the hidden treasures inside them. The good values that are incorporated into us we have forgotten them and this is the time when we should bring those good values out of us. We should take the advantage of these values as much as possible," said N Chandra.
Smilee Suri, who plays the role of a simple girl from Kashmir in the film, said that the strong character of the film attracted her towards this film.
"I was looking for something different and then Chandraji (N. Chandra) called me and told me about the role of Asha and I was really thrilled when he narrated the script to me, because here I was getting to play a strong girl," said Smilee Suri.
The film, slated for August 28 release, brings back the old memories of N Chandra films like 'Tezab', 'Ankush', 'Kagaar', 'Tejaswini', 'Narsimha' and 'Pratighaat'.
The movie stars Anupam Kher, Atul Kulkarni, Seema Biswas, Milind Gunaji, Rajit Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav and Sarika among others. (ANI)
