Naomi Watts to star in 'The Birds' remake

London, Aug 10 (ANI): Naomi Watts is set to star in the remake of Alfred Hitchcock's suspense classic 'The Birds' from 1963.
Watts is to take the lead role, played by Tippi Hedren in the original.
However, Hedren is not too pleased with the remake.
She has called the remake 'insulting'.
"To take a work of art like that and try to copy it is like trying to imitate the Mona Lisa," the Daily Express quoted Hedren as saying.
"I think Hitch would call them tiny tots trying to make movies and ask why they don't have an original thought in their heads," she added. (ANI)
