Miniature Bhagwad Gita transcribed by UP sweet shop owner
Moradabad (UP), Aug 3 (ANI): Hindu scripture Shrimad Bhagwad Gita has been transcribed into an illustrated miniature book by a sweetmeat shop owner in Moradabad.
Rajiv Kumar Aggarwal owns a sweetshop at the Lajpat Nagar area of Chandowsi subdivision in Moradabad district. Besides running the shop, he is also an expert in Calligraphy.
When Rajiv was young, his schoolteacher who noticed his handwriting motivated him to do something different with his unique way of writing.
With this inspiration, he wrote the text of the Bhagwad Gita, in ten pages of one square inch each page. Initially, he started writing it in Sanskrit and later wrote the English and Hindi translations of it.
"For the first time in 1990, I wrote the complete 700 Sanskrit shlokas (hymns) of Bhagwad Gita in tiny letters within three months. It encouraged me to write more. I completed its both English and Hindi translations. I wrote total three books within a year and size of each of them was one inch per square," he said.
Rajiv's name has also been registered in the book of records. By Vibhav Porov (ANI)
