Dubai, Aug 13 (ANI): After failing to make a mark with his debut film, Ranbir Kapoor is hoping that his latest flick 'Bachna Ae Haseeno' turns out to be a blockbuster.

Inspired a little by Ranbir's grandfather Raj Kapoor's acclaimed 'Mera Naam Joker', the film shows the journey of a man from age 18 to 30 and the relationships in his life.

Ranbir will be seen serenading three Bollywood beauties-Minissha Lamba, Deepika Padukone and Bipasha Basu.

Siddharth Anand, who earlier made 'Salaam Namaste', has directed the love saga.

With its 20-something line-up, Bachna Ae Haseeno (nicknamed BAH) is high on star-power, songs and locations.

"I have worked hard for this movie. The conflicts that spring from my relationships with the women I meet between the 17-30 age bracket forms the crux of the film," Gulf News quoted Ranbir, as saying during a phone interview.

"The tough part was that each phase had to be portrayed in a distinct manner," he added.

Kapoor, who made his debut last year with Saawariya, may have swept all of the major Best Debut (Male) awards but what eludes him is a commercial success.

"I am very anxious about the fate of this date flick. At the end of the day, it is important that your movie does well commercially. I am hoping BAH will be it," Kapoor said. (ANI)
