Srinagar, Aug 1 (ANI): A seven-day Indian Trust For Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) workshop on Creativity Education and Arts under the Jammu and Kashmir chapter commenced in Srinagar to nurture the creative talent of the youth.
Around 50 students in the age group of 14-18 years were selected from various schools in the Kashmir valley to participate in the first of its kind workshop, which include courses in painting, photography, theatre and creative writing.
"Colours, lines, photography, film making are prevalent in the world as a form of creative arts and is a part of education. These courses were not present here in the past hence this is a small step which we have taken up to initiate it," said M.K Raina, Coordinator, INTACH.

"The workshop did not take place here earlier and we are happy now to take part in it as it has taken place for the first time. This will surely help us to nurture our talent," said Mudassir Farooq, a student.hese courses are a medium for the young students to work as a team and develop confidence to set up exhibitions showcasing their creative talent.
