Melbourne, July 24 (ANI): Locals in Cyprus have reacted with anger after alleged photos showing tourists having wild orgies on ferries emerged.
The lewd pictures were published in the Norwegian press, and show tourists engaged in a series of explicit sex acts on a ferry bound for the island's party hotspot Ayia Napa.
According to the Cyprus Mail, many pics allegedly show mass sexual orgies, including 'competitions' with whipped cream and melons.
Police say that the claims are not being investigated and there is nothing they can do as no crimes are being committed by the cruise operators.
"The boats are checked every day by the port police and no evidence has been found as yet to suggest such activities are going on," News.com.au quoted police spokesman Giorgos Economou as saying.
"But we wouldn't be able stop them when they're in the middle of the open seas doing their business," he added. (ANI)
