London, July 24 (ANI): Arsenal has said that they are ready to challenge the Tottenham Spurs in the race to claim Real Madrid and Dutch striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.
The Dutchman, 26, has turned down Stuttgart in favour of a move to the English Premier League, reports The Sun.
The Gunners management has said that it is ready to offer 16.5 million pounds for Klass.
Huntelaar joined Real Madrid in January in a 20 million pound deal with Ajax, but Madrid is ready to let him go as they have signed Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema this summer. (ANI)
