Gazza hoped to bed Anne Robinson after seeing her at gym
London, July 23 (ANI): Former soccer star Paul Gascoigne has said that he wanted to bed 'Queen of Mean' Anne Robinson after seeing her at his gym.
The 42-year-old ex-England ace appeared on a Sporting Heroes special of the show The Weakest Link, hosted by Robinson, the Sun reports.
She first questioned her: "You are quite skinny, are you fit?"
To which he answered: "I'm fit as... I did have the chance once and I turned you down. I'm mad."
She then said: "Now, come on Gazza. We were in the gym together...
"I didn't know I had the chance. I'd have been off that treadmill really fast."
He replied: "You should have seen how quick I pedalled when I saw you, darling.
"I am single, until I meet up with you later!"
Gazza also admitted that he was expecting questions on his drinking habits.
The footballer said he was "hoping the questions would be about rehab, cocktails and beer."
The show will be aired on BBC1. (ANI)
