Washington, Aug 12 (ANI): Pop star Katy Perry latest song 'I Kissed A Girl' tied with the legendary rock band Beatles record, as the longest-running number one song on the rock charts.
The 23-year-old's hit song remained at the top position atillboard's Hot 100 singles chart for its seventh week on Aug 7, reports Contactmusic.

The singer has now tied with The Beatles to become the longest-running number one in the rock era for her Capitol Records label.
The Legendary rock band's I Want to Hold Your Hand ruled for seven weeks in 1964.
Meanwhile, Perry looks up to Madonna for inspiration revealed that her ultimate fantasy is all about dining with the queen of pop. (ANI)
