Rajyavardhan, Samresh fail to qualify for Beijing Olympic Shooting finals
Beijing, August 12 (ANI): Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore failed to qualify for the finals of men's double trap event at the Beijing Olympics on Tuesday.
Rathore shot a score of 43 and 45 in the first two rounds. He scored 43 in the deciding round bringing his total to 131.
Prior to the event, Rathore had said that he had left no stone unturned to give off his best and was ready to face any outcome.

Rathore had won a silver medal in men's double trap at the 2004 Summer Olympics. In Athens, he is the first Indian to win individual silver after Norman Pritchard had won two silver medals for British India at the 1900 Olympics.
Samresh Jung too failed to qualify for the men's 50-metre pistol finals, finishing forty second in the qualification round of shooting competition in the Olympics.
Jung, shot a series of 88, 92, 91, 86, 90, 93 to end up with an average of 9.0 that ruled him out of the game.
Jung had previously missed out the cut for the10metre range in the air pistol finals. (ANI)
