London, Aug 10 (ANI): A 13-week-old baby had a miraculous shave with death when she was flung 10 feet in air after her mom was hit by a car while crossing a busy road.
Tilly Dickman bounced "like a rubber ball" down the road as mum Sarah's head smashed against the car windscreen and then dented the bonnet.
But the baby was completely unharmed while her mother Sarah, 37, was just had a few cuts and bruises.
Sarah, was carrying Tilly in her car seat on the way to her parked car after leaving her dentist in Yeovil, Somerset.
When she crossed a one-way street with Tilly, she was struck by blue Hyundai Accent. But, to her amazement, Tilly was found sitting upright in her car seat.
"It's a miracle we're both alive and don't even have broken bones. All I remember is a great big bang. Then I was lying in the road. Tilly, still in the car seat, had been thrown from my arms. I jumped to my feet and said 'Oh, my God - my baby!'" the Mirror quoted her, as saying.
It was a passing woman driver, who picked her up and cradled her in the back of her car until police and paramedics arrived.
Sarah, of Beaminster, Dorset, said: "When I got up, a man near enough rugby-tackled me and told me I shouldn't move. He then hugged me to keep me warm while other people put coats around me. I'm so grateful to everyone who came to our help."
While Police are investigating the case, no charges have yet been brought. (ANI)
