One of helicopters escorting Musharraf crashed in Muzaffarabad (PoK)
Oct 08: One of the three helicopters escorting Pakistani President Parvez Musharraf got crashed in Muzaffarabad. Almost four people have been killed in the accident and president’s spokesman Rashid Qureshi has been injured who was one of the passengers on board.

Officials said that plane crashed due to some technical problem. Injured people have been taken to Rawalpindi military hospital to keep them in intensive care, till yet no news have been given about the condition of the spokesperson of the president.
Musharraf had an escape as he was in some other helicopter. Musharraf reached safe his destination, Kashmir where he was to reach to mark the anniversary of the earthquake which hit the area one year ago.
This is being suspected to be a terrorist attack in the wake of the fact that a certain section of Army is against Musharraf and this is an incident executed by those people only.
Fundamentalists who are against Musharraf following ‘Lal Masjid incident’ are also being suspected behind this attack. They have proclaimed that they would not let Musharraf come into power by hook or by crook.
This is not the first time that Musharraf has been attacked. Earlier too there have been three attacks on him latest of them was the attack made in Baluchistan this July only when terrorists tried to shoot his aeroplane from the ground.
Any official statement has not come till yet what have been the reasons behind the crash. No details have been given about the identity of the dead and injured.
