Depp's Capt. Jack Sparrow role tops Sea-Faring Swashbucklers poll

Washington, June 11 (ANI): Johnny Depp's Capt. Jack Sparrow role has been named the greatest movie mariner in a new poll.

Russell Crowe's Jack Aubrey in Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World came second in the online poll.

Wind's Will Parker, played by Matthew Modine, came third while Tim Robbins' Erik in 'Erik the Viking' stood fourth on the CNN sea-faring list.

Kevin Costner's Mariner from 'Waterworld' rounded top five, reports Contactmusic.
