Floods wreck havoc in Rajasthan villages

Pichiyag (Rajasthan), Aug 7 (ANI): An overflowing barrage has flooded several villages in Rajasthan.
Incessant rains led to the breach of a barrage near the Jaswant Sagar Dam, resulting in the inundation of several villages.
In Pichiyag village, roads, houses and other buildings were submerged.

"People are facing problems due to the flooding of the region. People are stranded. Nobody has come from the government to assess the situation," said Mahendra Kumar, a resident.
According to some residents, the barrage has collapsed before because of heavy rains, but the State Government has not bothered to repair it. (ANI)
