Lindsay's devout dad won't walk her down the aisle

Washington, Aug 6 (ANI): American actress Lindsay Lohan will be missing out on only one thing if her wedding to Samantha Ronson takes place - being walked down the aisle by dad Michael.

Michael admitted that his devout Christian faith is what will stop him from giving away his daughter at the ceremony.

Lindsay and Samantha Ronson have always refused to confirm rumours of a romantic relationship between them, and now reports are suggesting that they are planning to exchange vows in a commitment ceremony.However, her father, a born-again Christian, is convinced that the Mean Girls star won't invite him to be a part of the event.

"I haven't heard anything (about an upcoming wedding) from Lindsay, but if she was marrying Sam, I don't think she'd ask me to walk her down the aisle," Contactmusic quoted him as telling MSNBC's The Scoop.

"She knows about my (Christian) faith... She just wouldn't ask," he said.

Even though he will not be giving his daughter away, Michael insists he isn't against his daughter settling down with Ronson, as long as Lindsay is happy.

"I want her to be happy and healthy and stay on the right path. If I discuss (her relationship), I say that I want her to be happy," he added.
