Peshawar, May 28 (ANI): At least five persons were killed and 100 others were injured when two explosions rocked the northwestern Pakistani city of Pakistan on Thursday evening.
The blasts were reported from Qisa Khwani and Kabari Bazar within minutes of each other. The blasts occurred at a time when the markets were very crowded.
Eight shops and over 40 vehicles have been completely destroyed. Rescue operations are on and the injured were rushed to nearby hospitals were emergency has been declared
According to eyewitnesses, a bomb was planted in a car parked outside the Qisa Khwani market.
Earlier, a suicide attack on police and intelligence agency offices in the eastern city of Lahore had killed about 30 people and wounded more than 300 on Wednesday.(ANI)
