London, Aug 6 (ANI): Dame Kelly Holmes has topped a list of Great British female Olympians that lesbians in the country would love to take out on a date.
The middle distance athlete, who took Gold, 800m and 1500m at the 2004 Olympics, becoming only the third woman in history to do the 800 and 1500 m double, topped the list with 48pct of the votes.
Coming in second in the poll by gay-PARSHIP.co.uk - Europe's largest serious dating site for gay men and women with 19pct of the votes was heptathlete Denise Lewis, who took Gold in the 2000 Heptathlon.
Third place went to Stephanie Cook, the gold medallist in the 2000 Modern Pentathlon. She raked in 14 pct of the votes, followed by Shirley Robertson with 10 pct of the votes. Robertson took gold in sailing in the 2000 and 2004 Olympics.
Tied at fifth place were Tessa Sanderson, who took gold in Javelin in 1984 and Sally Gunnell, who took Gold in the 400m Hurdles in 1992. Both got 5pct of the votes.
