De Niro, Gibson team up for murder mystery

Washington, Aug 5 (ANI): American actors Robert De Niro and Mel Gibson are teaming up for the first time for murder mystery 'The Edge of Darkness'.
Gibson will be playing the role of a murder detective, who discovers that his daughter led a secret life after she is murdered on his doorstep.
While De Niro will be playing the role of the operative sent to clean up the evidence, reports Daily Variety.
This will be the first big role for Gibson after the 2002 movie Signs.
The film will be directed by Casino Royale filmmaker Martin Campbell and is due for release in 2009. (ANI)
