Morgan Freeman falls prey to the curse of Batman!
London, Aug 5 (ANI): Dark Knight actor Morgan Freeman was the fourth to fall prey to the jinxed movie, after he was seriously injured in an accident in Mississippi.
After Heath ledger's and a film technician's death and Bale's arrest it is the fourth catastrophe to hit the movie.
"There is a sinister cloud over the film, they are calling it the curse of Batman," The Sun quoted a movie source, as saying.
A patrol sergeant revealed that it was a ghastly accident and the 71-year-old actor's car tumbled numerous times before landing in a ditch.
"The doors were jammed from the rolling and flipping. We had to break them to extract him," Patrol Sergeant Ben Williams said.
Freeman, who is married with three children, joked saying 'no freebies', when the onlookers tried to photograph him, while he was stuck in the car he had been driving with Demaris Meyer.
"Morgan has a broken arm, elbow and has minor shoulder damage but was in good spirits when I spoke with him a short time ago at the Elvis Presley Memorial Trauma Center at the Med, a Level 1 Trauma Center at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis," the actor's publicist Donna Lee said."He is having a little bit of surgery this afternoon or tomorrow to help correct the damage, he says he'll be OK and is looking forward to a full recovery," she added.
Although the police have not confirmed the reports stating that the actor fell asleep, they have ruled out any chances of drunken driving. (ANI)
