Madge splashes ?12,000 on vintage BMW R71 for Guy Ritchie

London, Aug 4 (ANI): Queen of pop Madonna makes up for all the trauma she has put her husband Gut Ritchie through by buying him a 12,000 pounds motorbike with a sidecar.

The 1938 vintage BMW R71 is a limited edition model, similar to the one ridden by animated pals Wallace and Gromit, and Madge, 49, found it after trawling round antique collectors.

"She really wanted to treat Guy after a few weeks of going through the mill. He told her years ago he'd always wanted to own a WWII-era bike with sidecar," News of the World quoted an insider as saying.

"He's thrilled with his present. It's comical to think of him in the driver's seat and Madge in the sidecar like Wallace and Gromit," the insider added.

Other fans of the old-fashioned vehicle include Wally and Nora Batty from Last of the Summer Wine.

Madonna's gift to Guy, 39, follows speculation their marriage was on the rocks. (ANI)
