JMM chief's son Durga passes away
Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) chief Shibu Soren’s eldest son and party’s national general secretary Durga Soren passed away at his home in Bokaro (Jharkhand) on Thursday.
The 39-year-old former MLA went to sleep on Wednesday night and did not wake up today morning, said sources close to the family. They got to know about his death when some family members went to wake him up.
He was immediately rushed to the Bokaro General Hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead.
Doctors however said nothing about the cause of the death. Family sources said the death was caused by the kidney failure or heart attack.
Durga Soren is survived by wife and three daughters.
Shibu Soren and his younger son Hemant were in New Delhi Wednesday to participate in the UPA meeting and were informed of the incident while on his way to Bokaro today in a chartered plane.
Durga Soren had contested from Godda seat in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections but failed to win.
