Estonia is one of the lesser known countries in Europe. Some don?t even know that it exists, while the few that do have no idea where it is let alone what it is famous for.

Estonia?s history is shrouded in all sorts of political controversy and battle for independence and power. It only gained its independence about ten years ago and soon became a member of the European Union. Instead of focusing on trying to get ahead in the world rankings like some other European countries, Estonia is a country that keeps to itself and aims to be the best it can be in its own right. This can be seen in all aspects of Estonian culture and the general well put together way of life.

One of the most visible qualities in much of the population is the drive to succeed without stepping over others. This is the main reason that the country has developed so well economically. While many other countries have a good supply of resources on which to rely, Estonia doesn?t have many. Instead, it is mining as well as trade that pumps much of the revenue into the country.
