More detail about China

China is Growing Quickly But With Risks

China used to be a relatively quiet country that was focused on catering towards its own people. However, the rule of Deng Xiaoping in the 1980s helped to bring China towards a different path without all of the controls that former ruler Mao Zedong had placed on the country.

China has become notable in that it exports goods to all sorts of countries around the world. These include goods in the fields of technology and textiles. The industries that have popped up around China come predominantly from urban areas on the eastern end of the country.

The country is also looking to accept businesses from all over the world. Many different types of companies have begun to set up offices around China. These include places that range from automotive companies to chain restaurants. The increase in competition in China has made the country a very viable option for all sorts of industries.

The yuan, the official currency of China, has also be revalued a number of times. This is being used to make it more compatible with the American dollar and many other currencies. This is being done as a means of encouraging more international involvement in China.

There have been a few problems involved with the fast growth in China. For example, there are concerns about the massive population growth in the country. These include concerns about how resources are being used and how health care services are given out to people around China. This has caused the country to establish a policy where a family in the country can only give birth to one child.

There are also worries about the environmental impact of growth in China. For example, pollution levels in China are very high in some cities. Soil in many parts of China has also begun to erode.
