Breast cancer in men or male breast cancer though not that much common like breast cancer in females, in the recent years there have been huge number of cases diagnosed with the detection of breast cancer in men. Various stages of breast cancer in men

Stage I Breast Cancer in Men
This type of breast cancer in men is invasive in nature and the size of the tumor cannot exceed 2 cm. in diameter and does not spread into lymph nodes in the breast.
Stage II Breast Cancer in Men
According to the symptoms involved and the advancement of the disease stage II breast cancer in men can be divided into two different types, respectively as stage IIA and stage IIB. In the first instance the cancer is supposed to spread to maximum of 3 lymph nodes and in the second instance the cancerous lump or tumor is supposed to take a shape of more than 2 cm. in diameter and less than 5 cm. in diameter.
Stage III Breast Cancer in Men
The stage III breast cancer in man can be divided into three subcategories, respectively as stage IIIA, stage IIIB and stage IIIC. Different syndromes and signs of advancement of the disease is seen in different categories. In the first instance the auxiliary lymph nodes become clumped together or in some cases become attached to other organs. In the second instance the tumor is spread up to the skin of the chest and can involve the auxiliary lymph nodes and bones surrounding it. In the third instance the cancerous cells spread up to the tissues of the collar bone.
Stage IV Breast Cancer in Men
Stage IV is the most developed form of breast cancer and this stage of breast cancer in men can also be called as metastatic breast cancer. In this advanced stage of breast cancer in men the cancerous cells involve several crucial organs like lungs, liver, bones and brain.
Though the usual symptoms of the breast cancer in men is very much similar to that of breast cancer in women but the major difference between these two types of breast cancer is found in regard to the presence of mass in the breast that makes the symptoms of breast cancer in women to come with different rate of advancement than the breast cancer in men. Because of the scarcity of mass in the chest of men the cancer can easily develop into other portions of the breast and quite in contrary the breast cancer in women takes comparatively longer time because of the presence of higher amount of mass in the breast of women. This is the precise reason why the majority of the cases of breast cancer in men is normally found with stage III or stage IV syndromes.
